It's been a long time since we've had a game like this. Everyone was tense, people weren't having fun.

1st Period was such a mess. I have to take responsibility for that. Due to work, I couldn't make it there earlier. I got on the ice just as the formal intros were happening. I didn't even get to stretch.

People were just doing their own thing most of the game. We have to change that. I'll work on those on the 12th. We've got a practice and I'll make them skate and learn to take shorter shifts. I hope we can learn some more break outs and start having people learn their position. Not too happy with the game but we got better in the 2nd.

The 3rd period I think our goalie lost morale, so that affected our team's morale too. I'll work on that.

I don't know about that, Tommy. I think we were having fun. It sucks to lose, yes...but it's really great to be able to skate as a team. I agree that work needs to be done with shifts on the fly, crisp passes...receiving and controlling said crisp passes, shooting more, back-checking more aggressively...COMMUNICATING MORE...we are way too silent out there...We need to use each other's names more. Having said that, I had a blast! It was fun for me. Cheers, Cappy
