11.27.2015 vs. Steel Hearts

The game went over well. We won. #34 wasn't having his greatest game. He was probably off due to the fact he hadn't been playing in a while. Tempers flared for a bit and we tried to play a no checking game. Didn't seem to go over well. I think we either have to call it no checking or all checking. No more of this grey area. 

I think the biggest problem is in front of the net. People are pushing to get the other guy off balance a bit and many view it as checking, cross checking or some other sort of penalty. While I agree that we shouldn't be using sticks to push, I think some people do. That is cross checking. Using your gloves to just knock the other guy off balance a little bit is OK. I think that's where the lines are getting crossed. 

Both sides had tempers flaring but in the end, the uneasiness and anger is left on the ice. Thankfully no hard feelings. Thanks to Steel Hearts for always playing us, especially from the beginning.
