It was our very first practice together. We even had a guy who hadn't played in 10 years, join in. He said he found our website through searching. THE WEBSITE WORKS! WOOHOO.
PD ran GREAT drills. We didn't get through them all but regardless of the language, everyone seemed to understand because it went really smoothly & everyone helped. Putting the drills online was a smart thing to do. Thank PD for that one again.
I did have to break out my poor Japanese to help translate a bit and I got a few snickers here & there but it was all good. It went well and what was awesome was that I saw a lot of smiles. That is the most important thing about playing. SMILES!
Too many times I see people play the sport I love & they play so seriously. We can have a serious game but we need to smile. Makes it a lot more fun.
The 30 something degree heat fogged everything on the ice today. It was hard to see but still lots of fun. Visors fogging up all over the place.
Our scrimmage ended in a 3 - 3 tie. I GOT A TIP IN FROM 森さん! It was a lucky tip in. All in all, loads of fun.
Thanks a lot boys.
