Aichi Moose practice

Great practice today. Didn't think I could make it since I had to work but it turns out it was OK. My last class cancelled. HOORAY! Rushed home after work, packed up my gear and bolted down to the rink. Ate on the way to the rink too. 

Got there and it was full of positive energy. I had a feeling it was going to be a great practice. It was for the most part. All was good until something happened to the doc. Unfortunately I didn't see but I heard he either got hit by someone with his head down or he fell down funny. Either way, he's out for at least 2 weeks. 小林先生お大事に。

Not sure how it happened, but I broke my twig. It's painful to see. It's not entirely broken off, but the crack is big enough that I can't use that twig anymore. There goes $250. It's been a year & 7 months. I guess it was about time it retired. I'm going to chance going with one twig, at least until I get to Vancouver in the winter. If need be, I'll buy one from the pro shop here in Japan but I'd rather not. My other twig is still in tact (knock on composite).
