It was a decent practice last night. The drills we do seem so elementary but they are the fundamentals. I do want all our people to improve. Regardless if they're on our team or not.
We've recently had a visitor from Belgium. Student. He's got some wheels. You can always see he puts in 110%. Great work. Many have improved since our club has started. I'll keep these skating drills as a fundamental but those breakouts are key. We need more practice with those. It's a lot harder than it looks (watching NHL). The other is shorter shifts. While majority of our teammates are getting the idea of having a short shift, many drop-ins don't. It's frustrating. Now that we seem to have a decent amount of people coming, I'm thinking about having a practice where all the Dragons are all on one side and visitors are on the other. On a side note, I had a fever last night and still ran the hockey drills and scrimmage. I should've stayed home. Now I can't even go out on Halloween because I'm bedridden. Oh well, for the love of the game.
