Another practice in the books. Our numbers weren't too bad on Friday. We could've used a few more bodies but overall it was good. We started the practice with some simple skating drills. This consisted of our players skating around the circles while only facing one direction.
Next we did some more simple passing drills. Hard crisp passes to a partner.
Next was a heads up drill. We had about 20 guys on the ice. Gave them 10 pucks and only half the ice. Skate around trying to keep the puck as long as possible.
Finally, it was a breakout drill.
I know, I could use some arrows to show the direction of the passes but I was trying to do it in a hurry with all the colors. It seemed pretty complicated at first but everyone got it. It seemed to go off without a hitch. We'll have to practice this a lot more.
