Short notice practice

Great practice. Good turnout. Of course we got lucky with an early time at Howa. We all just want to play hockey. Thank you for all those that came out. It is much appreciated and we hope to see you at our next practice. 

We have lots to work on. Our break outs are our weakest drill. People don't know how to break out. We have to practice many kinds of break outs and hopefully we'll improve. We still have a lot of basics to cover. With an extra 10 minutes now at Howa, we might be able to squeeze in a bit more practice time instead of game time.

Our team has had positive responses to the 45 second drill. After 45 seconds, I blow the whistle and the entire line changes. I'll continue that and try for more different kinds of break outs.
