The calm after the storm

It's been a while since we've been on the ice. 2 whole weeks to be exact. Our last drop-in, we had an incident in the end where there were tempers flaring all over the place. It took an 2 whole days to have the situation taken care of. Things have settled and it's back to business, HOCKEY BUSINESS!

Let's back track a bit. Our resident photographer #14 FURUTA and his wife #17 CHIKA just had a baby boy! CONGRATULATIONS to a new addition. I hope to see him on the ice along side my son too!

The following Monday, I had a game with a team that has joined the league. The White Kicks. We were playing against Chunichi Wings. The Wings are a very skilled team. Their passing is crisp, and they know how to rotate positions which is something the Ice Dragons are getting better at. During the game, I got a slash on my thenar eminence. That was VERY painful. I yelled out an obscenity when I got hit  and it hurt throughout the game. It even turned purple after a few days. I'm OK now but that was painful.

With the drop-in yesterday, it was #2 BIG CHOCOLATE'S birthday! A big shout out to him. We hope he's enjoying his big day.

This Sunday is also #17 CHIKA's birthday so please also help me wish her a very happy birthday as well. She's a mom and a year older. Congratulations!
