Typhoon/Hockey weekend

Quite an eventful hockey weekend. First it was on Saturday, with Osu Club then a quick stop at the convenience store before heading over to the White Kicks practice. That was tough. 

SB had a tough day but congrats on the test buddy. He was dead tired after both games. What a trooper. 

PD had a bit of a tough day too. He was out rock climbing before the back to back games. 

I headed down to Morikoro Park today and played with Ohsumi club where I practiced my defensive skills. I still have the "forward" mentality so I'm always pinching to get the puck. I even rush to get it too. Have to stop that unless I can back check fast enough. All in all, it was a pretty good game with lots of ice to skate around. 

Here in Nagoya we're hitting a bit of a typhoon so people were held up in places but quite a few of us continued to drive from wherever to play hockey. That's commitment. Those are the guys I want on my team. I'm not too worried about level of play, I want commitment and willingness to learn!
