This weekend wasn't too busy for hockey. A few of us were in town and we joined the Osu club practice. The humidity is really showing up on the ice. I've heard some people call it the dreaded mist of Osu. No matter what visor you have on, it will fog up.
Before I got this site up and running, my visor was an Oakley VR903 Pro straight visor. I really didn't like it at all. Paid about ￥15,000 for the damn thing. Even used the expensive AFR spray as it seems that only that spray will keep the coating on. IT DOESN'T. I digress.
Friday the 15th was hockey with Osu and the 16th was with the Steel Hearts club. During the Steel Hearts game I finally laid out a decent check and leveled a guy to the floor. It felt good. I guess I'm getting better at my checking game. SB, MG, MS, YH, and Jo showed up. It was a decent game, but it wasn't anything to write home about. I keep feeling my skates aren't tied on tight enough. Time to get new laces?
